Ship Tier List

Ships are half the fantasy of Harbor Havoc and less than half the player base. This list ranks them for people who will actually launch a hull. Stats sit on the ships page. Air ranks sit next door on the plane tier list. If you only wanted a taxi to a flag, spawn the Jet Ski and go read how to capture islands.

S tier

Destroyer. Four Tokens, 61 speed, 3,000 health. The first hull that fights and still respawns. It escorts, it caps, it runs. Most naval players should live here before they buy a Battleship.

Aircraft Carrier. Conditional S. 10,000 health, 8 Tokens, 11,000 Gold. The strongest regular purchase. It holds space and launches craft. It is not a solo carry. Park it with air cover or donate it.

Yacht / Haunted Ship. Event S. 9,000 and 15,000 health. When they are in the shop they warp the water meta. When they are not, ignore them.

A tier

Cruiser / Heavy Cruiser. Five to seven Tokens. The mid-ladder that actually belongs in a harbor mouth. Buy these after a Destroyer, not instead of a plane.

Battleship. Eight Tokens, 8,000 health, 4,000 Gold. A-tier with a team, B-tier as a lone wolf. People search this name. They should also search how to destroy the enemy harbor.

B tier

Battle Cruiser. Eight Tokens like a Battleship, more Gold, similar job. Fine if you like the skin. Not a required buy.

Iceberg. Cheap, weird, 80 speed. A meme hull that can still deliver you to a flag.

C tier

Jet Ski. Free, one Token, no real gun. S-tier as a taxi, C-tier as a fighter. Ranked C because this is a combat list.

Speed Boat / Turret Boat. Unranked in practice. Off sale. Do not wait for them.

How to use the list

Spawn cheap water to cap. Spawn Destroyer to hold. Spawn Cruiser or Battleship only when your air wing exists. A 10,000 health Carrier under an uncontested Stealth Bomber is a wreck. Pair this page with how to play and the spawn planner.

If your team has zero hulls, you can flip a round by being the one Destroyer on a captured island. If your team has four Battleships and no bombers, you already lost the sky. Switch to a plane and go hit the harbor.

Turrets on these hulls are a second player. Invite them. Controls for boarding are on the controls page. Rank does not man the gun for you.

Water without air is a wreck

Every S-tier hull on this list still dies to an uncontested bomber. Rank the sky first if your team has zero planes. A Destroyer under a friendly Heavy Gunner is A-plus. The same Destroyer under a Stealth Bomber you never looked at is scrap. That is why this page keeps sending you to planes and how to fly.

Event health numbers look like a cheat code. They are not a reason to skip the island. A 15,000 HP Haunted Ship that never leaves home is a museum piece. Park it on a captured pad or in the enemy mouth. Then let a second player sit the turret. The letter on this list is a start, not a win.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Harbor Havoc questions.

What is the best ship for most players?

The Destroyer. It is fast enough, cheap enough, and armed.

Is the Battleship better than the Destroyer?

It has more health and costs twice the Tokens. Better in a siege, worse as a respawn habit.

Should I buy the Aircraft Carrier?

After you own a plane and a Destroyer, and only if you can spare 8 Tokens.

Where do event ships sit?

At the top of health when they are available. They are not a reliable grind target.
